Welcome to my website where hopefully you will find all the information you need as you prepare for your big day! I love my role as a Humanist Wedding Celebrant and I always feel honoured when a couple select me to officiate on one of the most important days of their lives. To hear a couple's story, from the moment they met, through their dates together, their memories, their ups and downs and finally to the proposal itself is a fascinating listen! No two are the same and every single one is perfectly unique.
That is exactly what paves the way for me to put together and then deliver to you and your special guests, your love story, the way you want it told.
So why choose a Humanist Wedding Ceremony?
A humanist wedding is a non-religious ceremony that is welcoming, inclusive, and personally tailored to you. A humanist wedding is led by a celebrant and focuses on your love story and the things that are important to you as a couple.
The wedding ceremony is conducted by a trained humanist wedding celebrant They take the time to get to know you as a couple and they write and deliver a meaningful ceremony just for you. It can be as traditional or non-traditional, formal or informal as you like. Your day can include ritual moments, singing, pets, traditions (or not!) and anything else that makes it feel 100% right for you.
A humanist wedding is different from a civil ceremony or registry office wedding in that it’s entirely personalised to you. Also, it can take place anywhere that is significant to you as a couple. It could be the place you first met, somewhere with happy childhood memories or a location that signifies something about you. Whether it is a beach wedding, a woodland wedding or a wedding at home, a humanist ceremony is entirely focused on you, your love, and your story.

Is it legal?
Absolutely!
We are so fortunate in Northern Ireland that we can carry out legal marriages almost anywhere! No need to have the legal side done beforehand in a registry office. Just choose your ideal location to tie the knot, choose your ideal Celebrant to legally marry you there and let them get to work on your unique script!
Memorable Experiences
Every wedding should be memorable, from the first day of planning to the ‘I do’ moment. I strive to create moments and experiences that couples will remember forever, experiences that truly are truly meaningful.
Ceremonies can be made even more special by choosing to incorporate an act such as hand fasting, drinking from a Quaich or loving cup and the lighting of candles. These are only a few of the symbolic acts open to the couple.
